Accidental landlords face long void periods



Homeowners who think they will be able to ride out the economic downturn by renting their property rather than selling it, are being warned that in a difficult rental market they may face long and expensive void periods. Recently figures from the National Landlords Association showed that new landlord instructions to let in the third quarter of 2015 has risen at the fastest rate since records began, but not matched by such a rapid increase in demand for rental properties.
